That is a strange one!
Maybe we need a Brit to weigh in on this- I've been going to the UK for a LONG time and I've never seen this before!!???
That word makes my head hurt.
And when I say it out loud, it sounds like I have a speech impediment.
We need to write a book for public relations reps on how not to approach a blogger about pimping out their goods. If they only put a little thought into it they'd be far more successful. But I love your response...I might have to borrow it.

"bakerer" is a euphemism for "carberer"
Hmmm...not sure who is dumberer since I know fruit without an -s is can be plural in this case I would think the sign should be "Fruits and Vegetables" instead of just "Fruit and Vegetables" unless of course they only carry one type fruit. Kind of like fish and fishes.
Does this make me nerdy/nerdier or a grammarer? Or just plain grammatically anal?
And I guess you eat them in a fruiteria?
