Hmmm...not sure who is dumberer since I know fruit without an -s is can be plural in this case I would think the sign should be "Fruits and Vegetables" instead of just "Fruit and Vegetables" unless of course they only carry one type fruit. Kind of like fish and fishes.
Does this make me nerdy/nerdier or a grammarer? Or just plain grammatically anal?

And to make you look at photos of my cats. I hope you'll pick up a tip or two; or just have a laugh. You can email me at LASmoothieGirl at gmail dot com. Thank you for reading!

Maybe we need a Brit to weigh in on this- I've been going to the UK for a LONG time and I've never seen this before!!???
That word makes my head hurt.
And when I say it out loud, it sounds like I have a speech impediment.

He he!!!! Love this!!! I'm dumb and dumber too.
Ha ha! You know they were like, "What's a fancy way to say we sell fruits and veggies? Fruit Sellers? Hm, too lowbrow. I know! Fruiterer! Brilliant!"
Gosh, I can't even pronounce it.

I get it, I'm a "vegtablerer" my self ;)
Eden, you're also a bakerer.
"bakerer" is a euphemism for "carberer"
