Quite frankly, I much prefer this method of issuing a citation- it saves that whole "omg omg omg where's my license, I can't believe I'm getting pulled over, quick hide the cell phone panic" that sets in when you get physically pulled over by the fuzz. When I sweat, I would rather be punching a boxing bag than sitting in the driver's seat of my car thankyouverymuch.
Am I the only one who finds the white bubble amusing? I just laughed and laughed when I first saw this photo! Incidentally, Derek doesn't have a Mr. Spock ear- that's his phone earpiece, in case you were wondering.

For some odd reason, when I sing this song, I have changed the line in my head from "Caught in a Bad Romance" to "Caught in a Rad Bromance". I'm weird, I know. As is the video if you go and watch it. Weird, weird weird! But kinda cool at the same time.

I got a $300 carpool lane violation when I lived in CA. Stupid carpool lane just contributed to smog! I'm still mad about it, 12 years later.

My husband is a mechanic and he's gotten sooo many customers that have come back in with a photo of my hubs test driving (& speeding!) in their car. Luckily the tickets always get dropped.

I'm still on speeding probation myself for going 43 in a 30. You can't just go to traffic school like you can in CA and have it wiped. I had to write a sob letter so it wouldn't stay on my record for 5-7 years!
Back when they started the photo ticket thing, they had a particularly large amount of complaints in Beverly Hills b/c a LOT of men were coming home to their wives who had opened the citations and caught their husbands with other "passengers." I'm pretty sure that started the white blobhead rolling!

THOSE TICKETS-SCOTT HAS gotten 4 in the 5 mos we've lived here...and we were gone for a month in Aruba.
He mindlessly talks on the phone and is clocked at 80-85. Which is normal CA driving speed. Another reason I want to move: people drive too slowly here :)
I actually speed tons, but slam on the breaks the 1/8th mile b4 the photo enforcement. Me and everyone else except Scott and your husband :)

Up until I was 19, I was busted for my lead food. ALOT. But, being busted has enabled me to figure out the exact patterns of law enforcement in my area. I know where they sit (behind the bushes on the highway), which roads they frequent, and more importantly, when shift change is! Small Midwest town doesn't change up much...and I haven't gotten a ticket in almost 6 years!

I got pulled over for speeding for the first time ever last month!! Just two weeks after I got into my first accident :\ It was stressful, I wish they'd just taken a crappy photo of me and left me alone :P

hahah too funny. Thats such a bummer about the ticket. It is nicer that they just mail you the ticket, but I hate the surprise of it! Ive actually only been pulled over once and issued a warning. So not bad.

good thing y'all don't live here! You get pulled and ticketed for going 26 in a 25, and the "traffic court" is super scary...if you get served you loose base driving privileges for 30 days. Needless to say, cruise control is my bestest buddy.
