Tickle-yer-funny-bone Tuesday

Happy Tuesday, party people!

Sometimes your brain just needs a rest, right? Nothing heavy. Nothing deep. So today I thought that I would borrow (uh, STEAL) a link from Abby's post yesterday that made me laugh hysterically. She has posted great "Food Art" links in the past that always tickle my funny bone. I loved it so much that I forwarded it to anyone I think has a sense of humor. I asked her if I could link her and post about it today, so if you didn't get my email, that either means I know you read the blog or I think you're a bore. KIDDING!

Some of them are so good, they're in the mix twice... enjoy...

Here's Abby's link from yesterday involving sandwiches. You'll never look at a PB&J the same way again.

Then I decided to google "Food Art" on my own...here were some finds:

This is a link to some bento, latte and cake art. Amazing.

More funny food art. More bento art (those Japanese artists have a lot of time on their hands!), foodscapes and veggie art.

still more Bento Box Art
- very creative and painstakingly detailed!

Some of these are hilarious- love the gun-shaped Egg-maker for those folks who are not "morning People!" ... Care for a Meatball or cocktail-weiner shaped bubble gum?

Have a great day, folks!

Deb (I can't get my new signature to work- guess I'm not a morning person- better eat my gun-shaped eggs ! grrr!)

this was great!

speaking of way too much time on their hands.. have you seen this girls blog??

Idk if its totally old news, seeing how I just discovered everybody, but this girl is truly amazing with her posts and pictures. that specific link was a bento box post, which made me think of it.

Janetha- Ha! I get it... you broke your humerus but it wasn't one bit humerous! Ha ha! Hee hee! Good one!

Bekah- wow that girl is talented and has the attention to detail of a neurosurgeon- did she really lay out each of those tiny noodles side by side?!? Actually I'm totally all over her soy paper PB,Banana and Chocolate "sandwich" Mmmm! Thanks! :-)

Hey Deb!

I couldn't find an email address for you, so I am answering your question via comment! LOL :)

Yes, plyometrics is AWESOME! If you do indeed like getting your booty kicked, you should totally try it! I was so addicted at one point, I think I was doing it daily. That of course didn't last long, but I still LOVE it. If you have any more questions about it, or P90x, feel free to email me amandabpurcell at gmail dot com

BTW, I loved your response to the "who reads your blog" question the other day because I have the same thing going on with my friends and fam, they think I'm totally crazy with the food/working out thing and I don't want them to know that I actually blog about it too! LoL!!

I'm totally going to draw faces on our eggs right now. I wonder if CD will notice?

Yeah- I think she works on one post for like two weeks. That is why it is so close to perfection.

yeah her eats are quite creative too and delicious too.

How cool is this?!? I LOVE the insanewiches!! The molecular one and the laundry "hung to dry" is classic. The Amazing Food Art is SOO creative!! Why can't they have a show like this on Food Network? I think I'd rather watch that than Iron Chef. :)
